경기도 지방세정 운영평가는 지방세 징수실적과 도 세입예산의 기초가 되는 세수추계 정확도, 행정소송 및 조세심판 대응력 등 5개 기본지표와 정부시책 기여도 등 10개 항목으로 구성된 세정 전반에 대한 공정하고 면밀한 평가라고 했다.

포천시는 2020년 장려상, 2021년 최우수상을 받은 바 있으며 이어 올해 우수상까지 3년 연속 수상을 하며 포천시 지방세정 운영 능력의 우수성을 입증했다고 전했다.

최형규 세정과장은 “코로나19의 장기화로 인한 많은 어려움에도 불구하고 자신의 자리에서 맡은 역할을 다해준 세정과 담당 공무원 노력 덕분이다. 또한, 어려운 여건 속에서도 성실히 납세의무를 이행해주신 시민 여러분들에게 감사드리며, 적극적인 세정지원과 공평과세 실현을 위해 노력하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
