이번 겨울방학특강은 오는 28일부터 2월3일까지 참가자 신청을 받아 주간 강좌와 토요특강 총 10개의 강좌가 대면 및 비대면으로 진행되며, 바리스타 및 로봇코딩, 마술, 바이올린 등 청소년들의 재능향상에 도움이 되는 문화체험 프로그램으로 구성했다고 했다.

특히, 여러 가지 폐품을 재활용하여 예술작품을 만들어 보는 정크아트 강좌는 청소년들에게 폐자원 재활용에 대한 메시지를 전달하는 것에 큰 의미를 두고 있다고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“코로나19 극복을 위한 어려운 시기에 청소년들이 위축되지 않고 꿈꾸는 마음으로 행복하게 자기계발과 문화체험을 할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하며 운영할 방침이다.”라고 말했다.
