양주시는 양주시 도시환경사업소장을 단장으로 담당직원, 특전사 전우회, 회천4동 자율방범대 등이 참여하는 현장순찰단을 편성하여 밤 10시부터 12시까지를 집중 단속기간으로 정해 도시공원 내 방역 수칙 이행 여부를 점검하고 있으며, 위법행위 적발 시 ‘감염병의 예방 및 관리에 관한 법률’에 따라 과태료 부과 조치, 구상권 청구 등 엄중하게 대응할 예정이라고 전했다.

이번 단속활동은 코로나19 지역사회 감염 확산 차단과 빈틈없는 방역망 구축을 위해 행정명령 별도 해제 시까지 지속적으로 실시할 계획이라고 했다. 

양주시 관계자는 “코로나19 확산을 막기 위한 사명감으로 야간계도 임무에 헌신해주신 모든 분들께 감사드린다”며 “관내 코로나19 확진자 증가추세로 개인방역 수칙을 지키며 행정명령을 더욱 철저히 준수해달라”고 당부했다.
