[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 9월 16일 최수천 북부지방산림청장은 강원 춘천시 사북면 오탄리 소재 산사태취약지역에 대하여 안전점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

북부지방산림청은 여름철 자연재난대책기간 내 우기 대비 사업장 점검과 병행하여 산림재해 예방을 위하여 지난 8월 30일부터 산사태취약지역 총 47개소에 대하여 국가안전대진단을 실시하고 있다고 전했다.

* 춘천관리소 8, 홍천관리소 7, 서울관리소 8, 수원관리소 8, 인제관리소 8, 민북관리소 8개소

이번 점검은 인명·재산 피해가 우려되는 산사태취약지역 내 산사태 발생 예방을 위해 설치한 사방시설에 대한 점검으로 가을철 태풍에 대비하여 안전관리 강화하기 위해 실시된다고 했다.

북부지방산림청은 국가안전대진단 종료 후에도 산사태취약지역과 이용객이 많은 다중이용시설인 청·관사 등에 대해서는 상시적으로 점검하여 위험요소 발견 시 보수·보강 등 안전조치를 취하여 안전관리를 강화할 계획이라고 했다.

최수천 북부지방산림청장은 “실효성 있는 점검과 선제적 예방활동을 통해 산림분야 재해예방에 총력을 기울이겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
