[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 5월 18일까지 원주시는 2022년 식품위생업소 시설개선 융자사업 신청을 받는다고 밝혔다.

시설개선 융자사업은 관내 식품위생업소 위생 수준 향상을 목적으로 영업장 시설개선에 필요한 자금을 저금리로 융자해 주는 사업이며, 식품 제조·가공업소 및 식품접객업소의 영업장 수리, 시설 개·보수, 기계·기구 등의 교체, 식품접객업소 화장실 시설개선 및 식중독 예방을 위한 손 씻는 시설 설치 등을 지원한다고 했다.

시설개선 자금은 강원도식품진흥기금 2억 원을 활용해 연 2%의 금리로 1년 거치 3년 원리금 균등분할상환으로 추진되며, 융자 신청을 원하면 위탁 수행기관인 NH농협 시지부에서 융자 가능 여부를 상담한 후 신청서와 함께 영업시설 개선사업 계획서를 보건소 위생과에 방문 또는 우편 제출하면 되고, 융자한도액은 식품 제조·가공업소 7,000만 원 이하, 으뜸 음식점은 5,000만 원 이하, 일반음식점 4,000만 원 이하, 휴게음식점 및 기타 식품판매업소는 1,000만 원 이하로 차등 지원된다고 전했다.

원주시 관계자는 “이번 사업으로 식품위생업소의 위생 수준이 향상될 것으로 기대한다.”라고 말했다.
