[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 정선군은 고농도 미세먼지가 빈발하는 봄 철을 맞아 청정자연과 군민들의 건강을 지키기 위해 환경오염물질 배출시설에 대한 특별 지도·점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

정선군은 특별점검반을 편성해 오는 3월 25일까지 환경오염물질 배출시설에 대한 관리 감독 및 해빙에 따른 오염물질 불법 배출행위가 우려됨에 따라 환경오염 행위 예방을 위해 특별 지도·점검을 진행할 계획이라고 전했다.

중점 점검대상은 대기·폐수 배출 및 방지시설 정상가동 여부를 비롯해 비산먼지 발생사업장 억제조치 이행사항 확인, 환경법에 대한 전반적 조치사항 확인 등이며, 특히 특별점검기간 중 원주방환경청과 드론협회 등과 협업을 통한 합동으로 드론 및 이동식 대기질 농도 측정차량을 활용한 현장점검을 진행할 계획이고, 미세먼지 불법 배출로 인한 군민들의 피해 예방을 위해 3월부터 올해 12월까지 미세먼지 불법배출 감시원을 운영하고 있다고 했다.

미세먼지 불법배출 감시원은 9개 읍·면을 5개 권역으로 나누어 미세먼지 배출원에 대한 철저한 감시와 상시 순찰은 물론 미세먼지 저감 홍보활동을 수행한다고 했다.
