[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 박형덕 동두천시장은 지난 1일 관내 소재한 ㈜명도식품과 ㈜딜리를 방문, 생산시설을 둘러본 후 기업인들과 소통하는 시간을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이번 현장방문은 민선8기 시작을 알리는 동시에 국내외 경기침체 등 기업의 당면 어려움을 청취하고 현장소통을 통한 기업 애로 및 규제 해소를 모색하고자 마련됐다고 했다. 

소요동에 위치한 ㈜명도식품은 품질경영시스템 및 식품안전경영시스템을 구축, 국내 치킨무 등 농축산가공식품을 생산하고 있으며, 일반산업단지에 위치한 ㈜딜리는 차세대 반도체 제조기술을 바탕으로 IR52 장영실 대통령상과 기술혁신상을 수상하는 등 세계 최고의 디지털 UV 프린터기를 생산하고 있다고 전했다.

이날 박형덕 시장은 근로자들의 노고를 격려하는 자리에서 “동두천을 새롭게, 시민을 힘나게!, 기업과 시민이 모두 만족하는 경제도시를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”며, “기업의 어려움을 함께 고민하고 해결해 나가자”고 당부했다.
