[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 경기도의회 교육기획위원장 정윤경 의원은 경기도의회 군포상담소에서 보영운수 신보영 대표와 버스노선 운영 관련 애로사항을 청취했다고 밝혔다.

이날 신보영 대표는 “코로나19로 어려운 실정인데다 군포시 관내 산본여객이 인허가 됨으로써 보영운수의 운영이 더 어렵게 되었다.”라고 토로했다. 

이에 정윤경 의원은 “경기도 관내 전체 운수업체가 코로나19로 인해 어려운 실정으로 보영운수의 어려움도 충분히 공감하지만, 군포시에도 그동안 시민들의 노선 조정 및 배차간격에 대한 불편 민원이 계속되어 민원 해소가 어려운 시점에서 산본여객이 운영됨으로 고질적인 민원이 해결되었다.”고 말했다. 

또한, “앞으로 군포시에서 노선 조정 발생 시 보영운수 의견도 반영 되도록 노력하겠다.”며 “시민이 안전하고 편리하게 대중교통을 이용할 수 있도록 함께 협조해 달라”고 당부했다.

군포시는 관내 산본여객의 출범으로 오랫동안 군포시민의 숙원이었던 송정지구 및 기타지역에 11대의 버스노선 증가 및 배차간격이 10여분으로 줄어 시민들에게 편리한 교통서비스를 제공하게 되었고, 앞으로 2개 노선에 22대가 추가 운행될 예정이라고 말했다.
