[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강수현 양주시장은 지난 21일 경기섬유종합지원센터 컨벤션홀에서 열린 ‘양주시상공회 창립 제19주년 기념식’에 참석해 창립기념 행사를 축하하며 관내 기업인들과 상생협력 의지를 다졌다고 전했다.

이번 제19주년 창립기념식에는 강수현 양주시장과 정성호 국회의원을 비롯해 윤창철 양주시의회 의장, 최근수 경기북부상공회의소 회장, 박종서 양주시상공회 회장, 관내 기업인과 양주시상공회 관계자 등 200여명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.

기념식은 관내 중소기업 발전 및 지역경제 활성화에 기여한 기업인에 대한 표창, 시장 등 외빈 축사 및 기념사, 만찬 순으로 진행됐다.

강수현 시장은 축사를 통해 중소기업 지원 및 발전 방향, 지역경제 활성화에 대한 의지를 밝히며 ‘동반성장의 경제도시’양주시를 만드는데 최선을 다할 것을 약속하고, 기업인들과 만찬을 함께하며 기업인들의 애로사항을 현장에서 직접 듣는 시간을 가졌다.

강수현 양주시장은 “창립 19주년을 축하하는 자리에 함께 할 수 있게 되어 진심으로 감사를 표한다”며 “기업인들이 양주시에서 신명나는 기업활동을 할 수 있도록 적극적인 협력을 하겠다”고 말했다.
