[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 23일 포천시 화현면에서는 복지취약계층에게 전달해 달라며 일동농협·화현면 기업인 등이 쌀 10kg 300포를 사회복지공동모금회에 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

기탁 물품은 각 마을 이장 및 보장협의체 위원들이 기초생활 수급자, 홀몸 어르신 등으로 구성된 가구에 직접 방문하여 전달할 예정이라고 했다.

김광수 일동농협 조합장은 “코로나19로 어려움에 처한 지역사회에 조금이나마 보탬이 되고자 후원을 결정했다. 지역사회와 함께 더불어 사는 일동농협이 되겠다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

이재영 화현면장은 “어려운 이웃들이 따뜻하고 행복하게 지낼 수 있도록 힘써주신 일동농협 및 화현면 기업인 등에게 감사의 인사를 드린다.”라며, “후원해주신 물품은 필요한 곳에 잘 전달하겠다.”라고 말했다.
