[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일 6.1 지방선거 경기도지사 출마한 국민의힘 소속 김은혜 의원은 남양주갑 당협사무시에서 열린 간담회에 참석해 “한밤중에 아이가 아파도 걱정 없이! 아이 키우기 좋은 경기, 24시간 어린이 병원 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.

이 날 간담회는 이인희 남양주시장 예비후보, 원병일 의원, 구리시 당협위원장 나태근, 남양주을 당협위원장 곽관용 등 남양주갑 당협 중심 40여명의 당원들이 참석했다.

김은혜 예비후보는 “경기도는 전국에서 아이들이 가장 많은 곳임에도 불구하고 어린이전문병원이 없어, 많은 분들이 서울로 ‘원정’진료를 떠나고 있다. 도내 남북 권역별로 어린이 중증환자 대상으로 전문병원 건립 및 어린이 친화적인 의료 서비스를 제공하겠다”고 강조했다.

또한, “휴일이나 한밤중에 아이가 아플 때 문을 여는 병원이 없어 발만 동동 구르는 경우가 많다. 비싼 진료비를 각오하고 종합병원 응급실을 찾아도 응급한 성인 환장에 순서가 밀리기 일쑤다. 현재 보건복지부에서 운영하는 ‘달빛어린이병원’이 도내 7개가 있지만, 24시간 운영하지 않아 불편함이 있다. 24시간 어린이병원을 도내 시.군별로 운영하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
