[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 민주노총 소속 금융권 노동조합 전·현직 위원장들과 경기도내 지역사회 인사들이 김동연 더불어민주당 경기도지사 후보에 대한 공개 지지를 선언했다고 밝혔다. 

삼성·대신·현대·KB증권 노조와 사무금융노조 현대차지부 전·현직 위원장 7인은 지난 4일 오전 10시 수원에 있는 김동연 캠프에서 “일하는 사람이 행복한, 공정한 경기도 건설의 적임자인 김동연 후보를 적극 지지한다”고 밝혔다. 

민경윤 전 민주노총 현대증권노조 위원장은 인사말에서 김 후보가 지난 5월 1일 노동절을 맞아 역설한 ‘공정하고 평등한 노동 환경을 만들어야 경제도 성장한다’는 말을 인용한 뒤 “경제 위기 극복을 위해서는 노동자와의 협력이 중요하다”고 말했다. 

지지 선언문을 낭독한 우종욱 민주노총 삼성증권노조 위원장은 “17세부터 노동자로 살았고, 34년 간 풍부한 공직 경험을 지닌 김동연 후보가 ‘일하는 모든 사람이 행복한 경기도’를 만들 적임자”라며 김 후보에 대한 지지를 호소했다. 

이어 오전 11시부터는 경기도내 노인, 청소년, 문화, 종교, 환경, 장애인, 직능 등 다양한 분야에서 활동하는 사회 인사들과 도민 5,000여명이 ‘정치교체와 기득권타파를 염원하는 범정치교체 세력의 뜻을 모아 김 후보를 지지할 것’을 선언했다. 

곽성근 종교투명성센터 상임공동대표는 인사말을 통해 “문제를 해결해야 할 정치권이 진영 대립과 갈등을 키우고 있다”며 “정치권이 기득권이 되었다”고 비판했다. 

이어 양태경 노후희망유니온 경기도회장은 “김동연 후보와 이재명 후보가 함께 약속한 ‘정치교체’를 실천하기 위해서는 경기도 선거에서 반드시 김 후보가 승리해야 한다”고 말했다. 

이날 ‘경기도민 5,000인 지지선언문’은 송정우 세상을 바꾸는대화 공감포럼 공동대표와 엄금옥 (사)환경보호국민운동본부 정책국장이 낭독했다고 했다. 

한편, 지지선언 행사에 참석한 김용진 후보 비서실장은 “이번 지선에서 경기도는 가장 중요한 지역”이라며 “김동연 후보가 경기도지사에 당선되어야 정치교체의 계기가 만들어진다”고 말했다.
