[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 김은혜 국민의힘 경기도지사 후보는 지난 26일 보도자료를 통해 '경기서부 미래비전' 상세 공약을 공개했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 공약에는 경기서부 (안산, 시흥, 부천, 광명) 각 기초단체별 교통망 신설과 미래성장동력 산업 집중 육성지원 계획이 공개돼 지역 주민들의 이목이 집중되고 있다고 했다.

김 후보는 이번 공약에서 안산의 핵심 미래성장동력 산업으로 <소부장·자율주행산업>을 꼽았다고 전했다. 

이를 위해 반월 노후단지를 소·부·장 중심 신산업 단지로 개선, 한양대 에리카 캠퍼스에 친환경-자율주행차량 학과 개설, 현대기아차 남양연구소와 연계한 자율주행 클러스트 조성, 초지 역세권 복합개발 조기 추진, 한양대역 주변 토취장 부지 복합개발 대기업 유치 등을 약속했다고 했다.

시흥의 미래성장동력 산업으로는 <해양친환경기술 및 바이오산업>을 제시했으며, 한국공학대학 등과 연계, 시화산업단지를 신산업 단지화, 서울대 배곧병원을 유치하여 바이오산업 메카로 조성, 서울대 배곧캠퍼스에 해양·친환경·에너지연구소를 유치, 자율주행·친환경연료추진 선박, 해양무인이동체, 전력전송기술 중점 육성 등을 들었다고 했다.

부천에서는 <메타버스·문화예술산업>을 집중 육성하고, 부천 영상문화산업단지를 메타버스·교육·문화·예술 단지로 재조성, 양질의 청년 일자리 창출, 부천 영상문화산업단지, 문화산업 융복합센터, 영화박물관, e-스포츠경기장 등 조속 추진, 영상문화콘텐츠 거점 공간 및 대중음악공연 복합단지(예술의 전당)로 조성 등의 청사진을 제시했다고 했다.

광명에서도 지역 특성을 맞춘 <광명 테크노벨리 확대 및 인접지역과 접근성 강화> 공약을 내놓았으며, 이를 위해 광명 테크노벨리를 확대하여 ICT·소부장 강소기업 및 R&D연구센터 유치, 광명 테크노벨리와 가산·구로디지털단지 및 KTX 광명역간 10분 내 도달 가능한 신교통수단 도입, 재건축 활성화 및 구도심 개발 등의 공약이 담겨있다고 전했다.

또한, 김 후보는 본인의 핵심 공약인 <수도권 30분 출퇴근> 실현을 위한 교통망 신설 공약도 빼놓지 않았다. GTX-C 노선 상록수역 연장(안산), 배곧역, 서울대역 신설(시흥), 대장~홍대입구선 조속 추진 및 1호선 지하화(부천) 등 지역 주민들의 숙원 사업이 공약에 포함됐다고 했다.

김은혜 후보는 “경기 서부의 변화를 이끌 힘 있는 여당 도지사”의 역할을 강조하며, “각 지역별 특성을 살린 미래성장동력산업 집중 육성으로 경기도의 백년대계를 책임지겠다”는 자신감을 드러냈다.
