[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 김은혜 국민의힘 경기도지사 후보는 지난 26일 경기 동부 자연보전권역 발전을 위한 그랜드플랜, 10대 맞춤 공약을 공개했다고 밝혔다.

 

자연보전권역은 수도권규제, 상수원보호규제 및 각종 환경규제로 인해 난개발이 촉진되고 있으며 인구 노령화, 기반시설 부족 등으로 지역 발전이 정체되고 있다고 했다. 

 

이에 김 후보는 ‘자연보전권역’ 규제 해소를 전제로 대규모 대학 캠퍼스 타운 조성, 친환경 첨단산업단지 조성을 공약했으며, 경기 동부 거점 대학병원 유치를 공약했다고 전했다.

동부권 기업 입지 규제도 확 달라질 전망이며, 경기도 자연보전권역은 6만㎡ 미만 영세 규모의 산업단지 조성만 가능해왔는데, 김 후보는 50만㎡ 이내까지 산업단지를 조성할 수 있도록 규제 합리화를 추진할 예정이고, 현재 6만㎡ 미만의 소규모 산업단지 개발로는 개별 공장의 난립만을 초래해 오히려 환경보전이라는 자연보전권역 취지와 모순된다는 이유에서라고 했다.
