[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 29일, 평창군은 여름철 우기를 대비하여 진행중인 재해복구사업장 현장점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 점검은 군에서 추진하고 있는 송정1교, 동산교 등 붕괴 교량 재가설 재해복구 현장에서 진행되었으며, 한왕기 평창군수와 오현웅 건설과장 등이 직접 현장을 방문하여 안전시설 설치상황 등 사업장 안전관리 대책, 우기전 주요 공정 마무리 가능 여부 등을 점검하고, 점검 후에는 미비한 사항에 대하여 현장에서 즉시 조치하도록 하였다고 전했다.

점검을 진행하며 평창군은 우기철을 앞두고 재해복구사업장 외에도 군에서 추진하는 각종 사업에서 안전사고가 발생하지 않도록 사업장내 안전관리를 철저히 하고, 여름철 자연재난을 대비하여 주요 공정을 조기 완료할 수 있도록 노력을 기울일 것을 사업 담당자 및 현장 관계자들에게 당부했다고 밝혔다

오현웅 건설과장은 “우기 전 교량 하부공 등 주요공정을 마무리하여 재해가 반복되는 사항이 없도록 공정관리에 만전을 기하고, 최근 시행된 중대재해처벌법에도 대비할 수 있도록 작업자 안전장구 착용, 추락방지 시설 등 안전시설 설치를 통해 안전관리가 될 수 있도록 철저한 현장관리를 당부드린다.”고 말했다.
