[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2월 11일 오전 8시 40분, 평창군은 군청 소회의실에서 한왕기 평창군수 주재로 노람들 주요사업 추진상황 점검회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검회의는 평창읍의 관광거점화를 위하여 노람들 내에 추진하고 있는 주요 사업들의 추진상황을 점검하고 문제점을 파악하여 이에 대한 대책 마련과 함께 신속한 사업추진이 이루어질 수 있도록 마련된 회의라고 했다.

현재 평창군에서 노람들 일원에 역점적으로 추진하고 있는 사업은 평창에코랜드, 평창수학아카데미아, 평창강 물환경 체험센터, 장암산 하늘 자연휴양림, 치유의 숲, 목재문화체험장 모두 6건으로 총 474억원 규모이며, 문화재 표본조사, 환경영향평가, 사업부지 성토 등 사전절차로 인하여 착공이 지연되고 있는 상황이라고 전했다.

평창군은 지역의 고른 발전을 위하여 남부권 관광자원 확충을 위하여 노력하고 있으며, 지난해 대화면에 광천굴 어드벤처 테마파크와 방림면의 국민여가캠핑장이 준공되었으며, 미탄면에는 청옥산 무장애나눔길 조성이 완료된 바 있고 특히, 평창읍에서는 평창강과 장암산의 수려한 자연 환경을 이용한 다양한 사업들이 추진되고 있다. 모두 완료될 경우 지역의 고른 발전은 물론, 체류형 관광객의 증가로 지역의 경기 활성화에 많은 효과가 있을 것으로 보고 있다고 했다.
