[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 의정부시 호원2동 행정복지센터는 복지사각지대 선제발굴을 위해 호원2동 우리동네 희망시그널 카카오톡 채널을 개설하여 복지위기가구 신고의무자를 대상으로 홍보를 추진한다고 밝혔다.

복지위기가구 신고의무자의 경우 법적으로 명시되어 있으나 신고의무에 대한 홍보 및 인식 부족으로 지원대상자 발견 시 신속한 신고나 지원이 이루어지지 않고 있어 관내 신고의무자를 대상으로 신고의무자의 범위 및 절차에 대한 홍보를 강화하고 카카오톡 채널을 활용하여 365일 신고 가능한 시스템을 구축하고자 마련했다고 말했다.

호원2동은 6월 한 달간 사회보장급여의 이용·제공 및 수급권자 발굴에 관한 법률 제13조에 해당하는 관내 복지위기가구 신고의무자 중 어린이집, 아파트 관리사무소, 병․의원, 소방서, 경찰서 등을 방문하여 카카오톡 채널을 추가하고 언제 어디서나 위기가구를 신고할 수 있도록 적극 홍보하고 있다고 했다.

김정미 호원2동 복지지원과장은 “우리 주변에 어려운 이웃을 발견하면 주저하지 말고 카카오톡 채널「호원2동 우리동네 희망시그널」로 신고 부탁드린다”라며 “앞으로도 복지사각지대 최소화를 위하여 다각적으로 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
