[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천군이 2022년 '홍천 스테이(stay) 사업' 참가자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

홍천 스테이(stay)는 귀농귀촌 준비자가 홍천군으로 실제 이주 전에 희망 지역에서 최대 8개월간 미리 거주하며 농촌을 이해하고 영농실습, 지역민 교류 등을 체험할 수 있도록 임시주거와 연수비 등을 지원하는 사업이며, 대상은 귀농귀촌을 희망하는 만 18세 이상 타 시 지역 거주 도시민이라고 했다.

모집은 용오름마을, 공작산마을 각 10명씩 총 20명이고, 참가자에게는 오는 3월부터 11월까지 귀농귀촌 희망자에 대한 사전 탐방 및 체험기회가 제공되며, 숙박비 월 40만원·활동비 월 20만원·연수비 월 15만원  등이 지원되고, 신청은 오는 3월 4일까지 홍천군 농업기술센터 귀농귀촌담당을 방문하거나 이메일로 접수하면 된다고 전했다.
