동두천시 소요동에 위치한 비전교회는 추운 겨울 어려움을 겪고 있을 저소득 이웃들에게 새해를 맞아 도움이 되고 싶다며 직접 소요동 행정복지센터로 방문하여 쌀을 기탁해 사랑 가득한 나눔을 실천했다고 했다.

비전교회 김찬경 목사는 “어려운 이웃들이 겨울을 따뜻하게 보내는 데 도움이 되길 바라는 마음으로 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회에 지속적으로 나눔을 실천하고 싶다”고 전했다.

장지봉 소요동장은 “지역사회의 어려운 이웃을 위해 백미를 기탁해주신 비전교회 김찬경 목사께 감사드리며, 기탁해주신 백미는 관내 홀몸어르신 등 어려운 이웃들에게 소중히 잘 전달하겠다”고 전했다.
