‘배달특급’은 경기도형 디지털 뉴딜 사업의 주축으로, 배달 앱 시장의 독과점 문제를 해소하고 공정한 시장 질서를 확립하고자 경기도주식회사가 민·관 협력으로 개발해 운영 중인 공공배달 어플리케이션이라고 했다.

군은 10월~12월에 '지화자(지역화폐사용하자) 소비쿠폰(5,000원)지급' 이벤트를 진행하며, 매월 8일을 '가평 특급의 날'로 지정하여 2만5천원이상 지역화폐 결제자 선착순 50명에게 1만원의 쿠폰을 지급 하는 등 다양한 이벤트를 진행한다고 했다.

군 관계자는 “7월 ‘배달특급’이 정식 도입된 이후, 이용 소비자 수와 가맹점 수가 계속 증가하고 있다.”면서 이용 활성화를 위해 지속적인 지원을 하겠다고 말했다.

‘배달특급’은 플레이스토어, 앱스토어에서 다운 받을 수 있으며, 가맹점 이용 관련 문의는 대표 콜센터나 가평군청 일자리경제과으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.
