[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 5월 의정부시 청소년 행복 주간을 맞아 의정부시청소년재단 이한범 대표이사는 ‘청소년 행복을 위한 다짐’ 챌린지를 진행하여 지역사회에서 주목을 받고 있다고 밝혔다.

이 챌린지는 청소년이 보다 나은 삶을 누리고 안전하고 행복한 환경에서 성장 할 수 있도록 지역 공동체 모두가 참여하고 다짐하여 청소년을 존중하는 사회분위기 조성과 청소년들이 행복하고 살기 좋은  건강한 성장환경을 조성하기 위함이라고 했다. 

또한 의정부시청소년재단에서는 5월 24일 ~ 29일 존중받는 청소년,  함께 웃는 청소년을 주제로 의정부시 청소년 행복 주간을 운영하여 온·오프라인 청소년 프로그램, 개천 따라 거리두기 마을축제, 청소년친화업체 할인행사, 청소년 행복 공모전이 운영된다고 했다. 

이한범 대표이사는 “이번 행사를 통해 의정부시 청소년이 사회구성원으로서 정당한 대우와 존중 받을 권리를 가지며 스스로 생각하고 선택하는 삶의 주체자로 살아 갈 수 있어야 한다.”라며 “ 또한 생명의 가치를 존중하며 정의로운 공동체의 구성원으로 책임을 다하여야 한다.”고 전했다.

의정부시청소년재단 이한범 대표이사는 다음 챌린지 참여자로 의정부시의회 오범구 의장, 의정부시학부모연합회 김명숙 회장, 의정부시  차세대위원회 유태형 위원장을 지목했다고 말했다.
