[김준호 기자 = 삼척시] 삼척시는 지난 9월 30일(금) 오후 3시, 사업현장(교동 일원)에서 수소생산시설 및 버스충전소 구축사업의 준공을 기념하는 ‘삼척 교동 수소충전복합스테이션’ 준공식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 준공된 삼척 수소충전복합스테이션은 2019년 산업부 공모에 선정된 분산형 수소생산기지 구축사업에 70억원(국비 48억, 지방비 22억)을, 환경부 소관 사업인 수소버스충전소 구축사업에 65억원(국비 42억, 지방비 23억)을 반영해 총 135억원의 예산이 투입됐다.

삼척시는 이번 준공식을 기점으로 본격적으로 수소생산에 돌입할 예정이며, 도내 10개 수소충전소에도 시범 지급한다는 계획을 밝혔다.

본 준공식에는 삼척시, 강원도, ㈜현대로템, 디젠스(주), 디앨(주), ㈜제아이엔지, ㈜수림테크와 함께 '강원도 액화수소 산업육성 및 생태계 구축을 위한 업무협약'도 같이 진행했다.

삼척시는 본 협약과 더불어 수소기업육성 산학연 클러스터 조성사업 추진 등을 통하여 액화수소 산업육성을 위한 앵커기업 및 협력기업 사업장을 삼척시에 유치하여 액화수소 전후방 산업육성 및 밸류체인 조성의 생태계 구축과 수소산업 관련 일자리를 창출할 계획이다.
