[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 20일 오후 4시 강릉시는 코로나19, 4차 산업혁명 등 급변하는 환경에 맞춰 강릉을 대표하는 일자리로 양성하기 위한 '2022년 강릉형 민간제안 일자리창출사업 협약식'을 강릉시청 8층 시민사랑방에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

지난 2022년 1월 28일부터 2월 28일까지 진행된 공모에 총 14개 사업 제안서가 접수되었으며 지난 3월 한 달간 정량평가와 정성평가 심사를 거쳐 최종 5개 사업이 선정됐다고 했다. 

선정된 사업은 ㈜올뉴코리아의「친환경 재생사업 선순환 일자리창출」, ㈜더웨이브컴퍼니의「워케이션 빌리지 조성사업」, 강원관광산업 사회적협동조합의「강릉아, 기다려~」, 센트오브사운드의「전문 조향사 및 창업가 양성사업」, 강릉서핑협회의「맞춤형 서핑강사 육성 및 일자리창출」등 5개 사업이며, 선정 사업에는 1개소당 1억 원 이내의 사업비가 지원되고, 일자리 창출 계획에 따라 직접 채용한 인력은 강릉형 워케이션 운영, 관련업계 취업‧창업 등 지역색에 맞는 일자리 핵심 인력으로 양성하여 지역에 정착하여 경력을 이어갈 수 있도록 관리할 계획이라고 전했다.

또한, 강릉시에서는 협약식 이후 전문가 컨설팅을 통한 사업계획 보완, 분기별 성과관리, 사업 성과 및 진행 상황에 따른 지속적 보완점검으로 각 사업이 독자적으로 자립하여 지속적인 고용창출을 이끌어내면서 사업이 더욱 확대될 수 있도록 적극 지원할 계획이라고 했다.

정일섭 강릉시장 권한대행은 “올해 처음 도입한 ‘강릉형 민간제안 일자리사업’을 통해 다양한 일자리를 창출하면서 지역의 대표 일자리로 자리매김 할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
