[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3월 21부터 오는 4월 15일까지 강원도소방본부는 해빙기 화재 및 안전사고 예방을 위한 해빙기 건축공사장 화재예방 특별조사를 추진한다고 밝혔다.

금번 점검은 도내 건축공사장 103개소에 대하여 소방본부 및 소방서 특별조사팀이 합동으로 건축공사장 화재안전 관리실태를 점검한다고 전했다.

주요점검 내용은 소방시설 공사현장 도급 적정 여부, 소방시설 공사 무등록 영업행위, 임시소방시설 설치 및 관리, 무허가 위험물 사용 실태 등을 중점 점검한다고 했다.

또한 안전한 공사현장의 환경이 조성될 수 있도록 위험물 취급주의사항 및 용접·절단 작업시 주의사항, 화재감시자 배치 등 안전교육과 컨설팅을 병행했다고 했다.  

강원소방본부는 지난 1월 건축공사장 특별점검시 입건 2건, 행정처분 4건, 과태료 4건을 처분 하는 등 건축공사장에 대한 취약요소 제거 및 화재안전관리를 한층 강화하기도 했다고 전했다.

용석진 도 예방안전과장은“공사장 관계인의 적극적인 자율안전체제를 당부드리며, 화재 및 안전사고로부터 도민을 보호할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
