[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월 21일 11시경, 윤상기 강원도소방본부장은 원주 제일풍경채 아파트 공사장을 방문하여 대형공사장 화재예방을 위한 안전지도 점검을 실시하였다고 밝혔다.

최근 평택 냉동창고 신축 공사장 및 춘천 푸르지오 공사장 화재 등 공사장 화재가 잇따라 발생함에 따라 공사장 화재예방 및 자율안전관리 체계를 강화하기 위하여 추진하였다고 전했다.

안전점검은 임시 소방시설 적정여부, 화기 취급시 주의사항 준수여부, 피난로 적정 확보 여부 및 공사장 관계자에 대한 소방안전교육과 안전수칙 준수에 주안점을 두었고, 또한 강원소방본부는 현장대응 능력을 강화하기 위하여 대형공사장과 연소확대 위험성이 높은 공사장을 대상으로 현지적응 훈련을 추진 중이며, 지난 18일부터 소방시설 공사장을 점검하여 입건 4건, 과태료 5건을 처분하는 등 공사장 안전관리도 한층 강화하였다고 했다. 

윤상기 강원소방본부장은 “화재는 예방이 가장 중요하며 관계자의 안전관리체계 강화하여 인명 및 재산피해가 발생하지 않도록 예방활동에 최선을 다 줄 것”을 당부했다고 말했다.
