[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 20일 평창군농업기술센터는 국내산 조사료 이용 확대를 위한 축산농가 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
교육은 최근 수입 조사료 가격 상승 및 물류 불안정에 대응하여 조사료 생산 확대를 통한 자급률 제고 및 축산농가의 생산비 절감 등 축산 경영 안정을 위해 한국조사료협회 주관으로 마련됐다.
또한 이번 교육은 서울대학교 국제농업기술대학원 김종근 교수를 강사로 초청해 조사료 전문가로서 농가 실정에 맞는 이용방안을 중심으로 강의할 예정이며 지역 내 축산농가 및 조사료생산 경영체 등 40명을 대상으로 진행할 계획이다.
전윤철 농업축산과장은 “축산농가 생산비 절감과 경영안정을 위한 조사료 생산·이용 확대를 위해 적극 지원하겠다.”며, “질 좋은 조사료 생산을 통한 농가 소득 증대를 도모함은 물론, 고품질 조사료 생산을 위해 다양한 방안을 강구할 방침이다.”라고 말했다.
