[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시는 사료 원료 가격 급등으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 축산농가의 경영안정을 위해 사료 구매자금 지원을 확대한다고 밝혔다.

양주시는 농가사료 구매자금으로 상반기 관내 축산농가에 29억원을 지원한데 이어 하반기에는 107억원을 추가로 확보, 총 136억원을 지원한다.

농가사료 구매자금 지원은 신규 사료구매 비용과 기존 외상금액을 상환해주는 사업으로, 융자조건을 당초 ‘2년 일시상환’에서 ‘3년 거치 2년 분할상환’으로 연장했으며 금리는 기존 1.8%에서 1.0%로 인하했다.

지원대상은 축산업 허가·등록받은 축산농가와 법인이며 사업대상자로 선정된 축산농가는 시에서 농가사료 구매자금 선정·추천서를 발급받아 해당 지역 농·축협에서 오는 9월 말 이내 대출을 실행하면 된다.

양주시 관계자는 “사료가격 급등으로 축산농가의 사료비 부담이 증가하고 있어 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다”며 “이번 지원금을 통해 축산농가에 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
