[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 18일부터 원주시가 정부의 거리두기 완화 방침에 따라 시정 전 분야에 걸쳐 ‘일상 회복’을 준비한다고 밝혔다.

각종 행사와 축제를 준비하고 복지시설, 공공시설 등의 정상화를 준비하며 시민들의 일상 회복을 지원하고 시민들의 건강한 여가문화 확산을 위해 코로나19로 제한됐던 각종 행사·지역축제가 개최되며, 오는 5월 27일 개회식을 시작으로 축구·농구 등 총 27개 종목에 13,000여 명의 생활체육 동호인들이 참가하는 2022 한마음대제전이 개최되며, 한지문화제 등 지역축제들도 준비가 한창이라고 전했다.

관내 경로당, 노인복지관 등 노인여가복지시설 468개소는 지난 18일 운영을 재개했고, 평생교육원은 현재 일부 특강에서만 진행하고 있는 대면 교육을 하반기부터 확대·운영할 계획이며, 원주시청 및 산하기관의 청사를 전면 개방하고 시는 지난 사회적 거리두기 기간에 폐쇄되어 있던 원주시청사 출입문을 전면 개방하고 시청사 로비 환경을 정비했으며, 읍면동 행정복지센터 등 산하기관에 청사를 개방하도록 공지했다고 했다.
