[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 주소정보 사용환경 개선과 안전점검을 위해 오는 9월 말까지 도로명주소 안내시설에 대한 전면조사를 실시한다고 전했다.

이번 조사 대상은 도로구간에 설치된 차량·보행자용 도로명판 2,778개, 건물번호판 9,621개, 기초번호판 999개, 사물주소판 353개, 지역안내판 1개로 총 1만 3,752개의 시설물이며, 모바일 현장조사 시스템인 스마트KAIS를 활용해 실시간 이미지촬영과 정보입력으로 조사의 효율성과 정확성을 높여나갈 계획이라고 했다.

조사 결과에 따라 훼손되거나 망실된 주소정보시설은 즉시 보수·교체하고 또한 보행자가 주로 이용하는 골목길이나 교차로를 중심으로 보행자용 도로명판을 확충해 도로명주소 사용 인프라를 확대할 예정이라고 했다.

태백시 관계자는 “주소정비시설의 정기적인 조사와 유지보수를 통해 도로명주소 사용의 불편함이 없도록 노력하겠다” 고 말했다.
