[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 9월말까지, 가평군은 군민들의 편의를 도모하고 주소정보시설물의 효율적인 유지 관리를 위해 '2022년 주소정보시설 일제조사'를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 조사 대상은 도로명판, 건물번호판, 기초번호판 등 28,100개소이라고 했다. 

주민들이 편리하게 도로명주소를 사용할 수 있도록 하고, 점검을 통해 훼손된 시설물의 낙하로 인한 안전사고 등을 사전에 예방하기 위해 실시한다고 전했다.

가평군은 모바일현장조사 시스템인 ‘스마트KAIS’를 활용해 조사기간을 단축하고 실시간으로 서버에 전송·처리해 효율적인 주소정보시설을 관리하고 있으며, 조사를 마치고 결과에 따라 훼손되거나 망실된 시설은 즉시 정비하고 또한 보행자가 주로 이용하는 골목길이나 교차로를 중심으로 보행자용 도로명판을 확충 할 예정이라고 했다.

군 관계자는 “앞으로도 주소정보시설이 도로명주소 사용에 중요한 역할을 하는 만큼 정기적인 조사와 유지보수를 통해 한발 앞선 행정서비스를 시행하여 군민들의 생활 편의를 높이겠다”고 말했다.
