내년 1월 1일 기준 개별공시지가는 전국 지자체가 동일하게 4월 29일에 결정·공시하며, 이는 토지 관련 국세, 지방세 및 개발부담금 등 각종 부담금의 부과기준이 되는 중요한 자료로 활용된다고 했다.

이번 조사대상 토지는 26만여 필지로 토지이용상황, 지형지세, 도로조건 등 23개의 주요 토지특성 항목의 정확한 조사를 위해 토지대장, 건축물대장, 토지이용계획확인서, 공간영상 등 각종 자료 확인 및 현장조사가 진행되고, 또한 국토교통부장관이 내년 1월 25일 공시하는 3,272필지 표준지 토지특성과 비교해 가격을 산정하고 감정평가사의 검증을 득한 후 3월 22일부터 4월 11일까지 토지소유자 등의 열람과 의견 제출 절차 등을 거쳐 4월 29일 결정·공시하게 된다고 전했다.
