[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 22일, 평창군은 허가과 우덕기 팀장이 2021년 제25회 민원봉사대상 본상을 수상했다고 밝혔다. 

민원봉사대상은 행정안전부와 SBS가 공동 주최하여 창의적인 민원시책 추진과 헌신적인 민원봉사를 실천하는 우수공무원을 발굴하고 시상하는 대한민국 최고의 공무원상으로, 평창군에서는 2000년 제4회에 전용호 前대관령면장이 본상을 수상한 이후 21년 만에 수상자를 배출했다고 말했다.

이번에 본상을 수상한 우덕기 팀장은 1997년 처음 공직생활을 시작해 건축 인허가, 주택건설사업계획승인, 2018평창동계올림픽 경관개선사업 등의 업무를 거쳐 현재 허가과 개발행위팀장으로 재직 중이며, 우덕기 팀장은 지난해 전국 최초로 태양광발전시설에 대한 이격 거리 제한 규정을 적용하지 않을 수 있는 평창군 조례 예외 규정을 처음으로 적용해, 농촌 고령화로 더 이상 농사를 짓지 않는 토지와 유휴부지를 마을 소득 사업에 활용하는 ‘주민주도 RE100 (Renewable Energy 100%)에너지 자립마을’에 대한 인허가를 지원해 지역 주민들의 오랜 숙원을 해결했다고 전했다.
