[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 26일부터 의정부시상권활성화재단은 의정부경찰서, 의정부제일시장번영회와 협력하여 전통시장 내 공중화장실 4개소를 대상으로 디지털범죄 사전예방을 위한 불법촬영기기 합동점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 출입문, 잠금장치, 조명, 쓰레기통 등 소형 카메라가 주로 설치되는 의심위치에 대해 집중적으로 점검을 실시하며, 유동인구가 많은 전통시장 공중화장실은 피해사례 발생시 불특정 다수가 피해자가 될 수 있다고 했다.

재단은 경찰과 공중화장실 불법촬영 및 범죄예방에 대한 합동점검을 통해 디지털범죄 대응 시스템을 구축하고자 노력하고 있다고 전했다.
