지역건설산업 활성화 평가는 도내 업체에서 생산·공급되는 자재를 우선적으로 사용하여 지역건설업을 보호하고 건설공사 사업 발주 시 관내 업체의 수주율을 높이는 등 건설 산업 활성화를 높이기 위해 매년 실시되고 있다고 했다.

평창군은 올해 실시된 평가에서 도내업체 자재·인력 및 장비 사용률과 도내업체 참여 실적, 기관장의 관심도 및 지역 건설산업 활성화 지원 노력도 등 총 4개 부분에서 우수한 평가를 받아 최우수상을 받게 되었다고 전했다.

한왕기 평창군수는 “정부의 코로나19 일상회복 전환에 맞춰 생활 전분야에서 지역경제가 활성화될 수 있도록 행정력을 집중하고, 군민의 삶에 활력을 불어넣을 수 있도록 역량을 모아나갈 계획이다”고 밝혔다.
