[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 8일 청평면행정복지센터은 청평면지역사회보장협의체와 청평로타리클럽과 함께 관내 저소득 소외계층 지원을 위한 후원협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

오늘 협약을 통해 청평로타리클럽은 1년간 매월 3만원 상당의 생필품을 저소득층 5가구와 결연을 맺어 후원하기로 했다고 전했다.

청평로타리클럽 이현우 회장은 “그동안 청평로타리클럽에서 다양한 봉사활동을 실시하였으나 이번 협약을 통해 더욱 체계적으로 관내 복지사각지대에 있는 분들께 도움을 줄 예정이라며” 후원에 대한 의지를 보였다고 했다.

안동석 청평면장은 코로나 19로 경제적으로 어려운 시기에 소외된 이웃을 위해 후원해 주셔서 감사하고 앞으로 관내 저소득층을 위해 적극적으로 협력하여 지원하기로 했다고 말했다.
