[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월 31일, 동두천시 불현동 행정복지센터는 복합적인 위기상황에 놓인 가구에 맞춤형 복지서비스를 제공하기 위한 내부사례회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 회의에서는 모(母)의 사망으로 양육지원과 일상생활지원이 필요한 아동과 우울증 및 고용 불안정으로 각종 공과금 체납되어 생계의 어려움을 겪는 가구 등 총 2가구에 대해 논의를 진행했다고 했다.

사례회의 결과 대상가구를 사례관리 대상자로 선정하여 긴급지원생계비지원, 맞춤형 급여신청, 드림스타트 연계 등 공적자원 뿐 아니라 밑반찬 지원 및 착한식당, 푸드뱅크 지원 등 일상생활지원과 우울증에 대한 관리를 받을 수 있도록 동두천시 정신건강복지센터 연계 등을 결정하였다고 말했다. 

김지일 불현동장은 “어려운 시기인 만큼 복지사각지대 발생빈도가 높아지고 있다. 도움이 필요한 손길을 놓치지 말고 내부적으로 해결이 되지 않는다면 민간자원을 연계해서라도 적극적으로 도움을 줄 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
