[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 15일부터 21일까지 포천시 이동면 행복마을관리소는 일주일간 민·관·군 연계사업으로 ‘꾀·꼴·이 이불 빨래’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이 행사는 지난여름에 이어 두 번째 진행된 것으로 큰 부피의 이불 세탁이 어려운 홀몸 어르신, 한부모가정, 거동이 불편한 대상자를 위해 이불 빨래를 대행하여 깨끗하고 쾌적한 생활환경을 조성해주고자 마련됐다고 했다. 

‘함께 꾀를 내어 행복한 마을공동체 꼴을 만드는 이동면’이라는 뜻을 담아 진행한 ‘꾀꼴이 이불 빨래’는 이동면사무소, 주민자치센터, 이동면 15보급대대, 이동면 행복마을관리소가 연계하여 대상 가구를 방문, 비대면으로 이불 수거, 세탁, 건조 후 배달까지 해주는 맞춤형 복지서비스라고 했다.

이불 빨래 서비스를 받은 한 주민은 “여름에도 이불 빨래를 해줘 장마를 꿉꿉하지 않게 잘 지냈는데 두툼한 겨울 이불을 빨아 건조까지 해서 가져다주니 너무 감사하다. 덕분에 이번 겨울을 더욱 따뜻하게 지낼 수 있을 거 같다.”라고 말했다.

행사를 함께한 군부대 관계자는 “지역사회와 함께 서로가 서로에게 힘이 되는 활동에 참여할 수 있어 뿌듯하다. 지역주민분들께서 따뜻하고 뽀송한 겨울을 지내시면 좋겠다”라고 전했다.

송영범 이동면장은 “본 행사를 거듭하며 지역사회 내 협력을 통한 지역 활성화 움직임이 보인다. 앞으로도 이동면 행복마을관리소와 함께 취약계층이 체감할 수 있는 맞춤형 복지서비스를 실천하고 뜻을 모아 화합하는 이동면을 만들어 나가겠다.”라고 말했다.
