동두천시 관계자는 “어르신 운전자의 교통사고 사례가 빈번하므로 사전 예방을 위한 인지선별검사를 시행하여 고령 운전자의 교통사고 예방에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

인지 선별검사는 예약제로 시행하고 있으며, 자세한 문의는 동두천시 치매안심센터로 하면 된다고 전했다.
