[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 더불어민주당 김원기 의정부시장 후보는 지난 17일 저녁 고산신도시연합회와 간담회를 가졌다고 밝혔다. 

'고산동 물류센터 건립 사업'에 대해 전면 백지화를 약속하고 입장을 재차 확인했다고 전했다.

김 후보는 간담회에서 "시민 주거권, 학생들의 학습권과 안전할 권리를 침해하는 물류센터 사업은 백지화 할 것"이라 밝혔다.

물류센터 부지 활용 방안 마련을 위해, 시민소통위원회를 발족하여 시민 의견을 수렴할 것이라고 설명했다.

김 후보는 이번 간담회를 비롯하여 동별 주민들 또는 시민단체를 대상으로 하는 '시민소통간담회'를 개최하고 있으며, 간담회에서 청취한 의견을 바탕으로 의정부시 발전을 위한 정책과제를 수립하고 있다고 설명했다.
