법인 세무조사 실적 평가는 경기도가 도내 31개 시·군을 대상으로 실시한 것으로서 가평군은 법인 세무조사 추진 실적, 이행률 및 직무환경 개선 노력 등 6개 평가 지표에서 600점 만점의 종합 평가 내용 중 559.5점을 받아 3그룹(인구 및 세수 규모에 따라 구분된 11개 시·군) 기관 표창인 장려상을 수상하는 영예를 안았다고 전했다.

군은 지난해 20개 법인에 대한 정기 세무조사를 실시해 취득세, 재산세 등 7억 3천만 원, 47개 법인에 대한 과점주주 간주취득 일제조사를 실시하여 취득세 등 8천만 원을 확보했다고 밝혔다.

군 관계자는 “대다수의 법인이 지방세를 성실하게 납부하고 있으나 일부 법인이 지방세 관련 법령 미숙으로 지방세가 누락되는 사례가 발생하고 있어, 법과 원칙에 따라 엄정한 세무조사를 실시하여 신고누락 및 과소신고 법인의 누락되는 세원을 원천 차단하여 공평하고 건전한 납세 환경이 조성되도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
