[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 경기도에서 촬영한 항공사진을 통해 적발된 개발제한구역 내 불법 건축물과 형질 변경된 토지에 대한 일제조사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

개발제한구역 내 불법행위의 예방 및 단속에 관한 규정에 따라 개발제한구역의 불법행위를 단속하기 위하여 경기도에서 항공사진 촬영을 실시하고, 전년도 항공사진과 대비해 변경사항을 적출한다고 했다. 

그 이후, 각 시·군에서 판독시스템을 이용하여 현지조사와 결과 보고를 수행한 뒤, 이를 통해 불법행위로 판정된 건에 대해서는 행정조치를 추진하게 된다고 전했다.

2021년 항공사진 판독을 통해 불법으로 의심되는 건축물과 토지 형질변경은 총 213건이었고, 현재 의정부시 개발제한구역 담당 공무원의 현장 방문 등 전수조사가 진행 중이며 현장 순찰과 사전통지 및 계고, 이행강제금 부과, 사법기관 고발, 행정대집행을 통해 행위자가 시정완료 할 수 있도록 강력하게 조치할 계획이라고 했다.

이주성 도시과장은 “개발제한구역 내 위반행위에 대해서 지속적으로 단속하여 개발제한구역의 훼손을 최소화하고 시민의 건전한 생활환경을 확보할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
