이번 회의에서는 리모델링 공사를 통해 새로운 모습으로 바뀐 가평군청소년문화의집 시설과 2021년도 상반기 ‘꿈나래’ 방과후아카데미 활동내용을 소개하였으며, 향후 지역연계 전략 및 조언과 긴급돌봄이 필요한 대기자 발생에 따른 해결방안 등을 협의하였다고 말했다. 

한편 이날 수원과학대학교 사회복지과 신인순 교수와 가평군 평생사업소 김미경 청소년팀 팀장, 가평읍행정복지센터 김문희 맞춤형복지팀장 등 3명의 새로운 위원을 위촉하였고, 지원협의회는 방과후아카데미의 주요 사안을 심의하고 결정하는 의결기구로서 학교, 언론, 지자체 담당 공무원 등 지역사회에서 청소년 돌봄서비스가 가능한 관련기관으로 구성되어있다고 했다.

여성가족부와 가평군이 지원하는 가평군청소년문화의집 ‘꿈나래’ 방과후아카데미는 2021년 1월부터 한국스카우트연맹이 위탁운영하고 있으며, 방과후 돌봄이 필요한 청소년에게 체험활동, 학습지원, 급식지원, 귀가차량지원, 상담지원 등의 종합서비스를 제공하여 청소년의 전인적 성장을 지원하고 가정의 사교육비 경감 및 양육 부담완화에 기여하고 있다고 했다.
