[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군 가평청소년문화의집은 겨울방학을 맞이하여 진행한 '바리스타(자격증) 프로그램'에 참여한 청소년 12명 전원이 바리스타 2급 자격증 시험에 합격했다고 밝혔다. 

해당 프로그램은 2개 반으로 나뉘어 총 26회기에 걸쳐 커피에 대한 기본 소양과 커피 추출방식을 익히는 등 바리스타 자격증 취득을 위한 심화과정으로 진행되었다고 했다.

가평청소년 문화의집은 관내 청소년들이 꿈과 희망을 가지고 미래를 꿈꾸는 문화교류의 장이며, 바리스타 자격증 프로그램 외에도 발명이 꿈꾸는 미래(3D펜), 네온사인 공예체험, 메이크업 프로그램 등의 프로그램을 운영하였고, 상반기 중에도 청소년 크리에이터, 드론으로 나만의 영상 만들기, 푸드스타일리스트 등의 프로그램을 운영하기 위해 참여자를 모집하거나 모집 완료된 상태이라고 했다.

김경식 관장은 “체계적인 교육을 통한 자격증 취득이 청소년의 진로 선택에 대한 자신감으로 이어지길 기대하며, 자격증을 취득한 청소년을 중심으로 동아리를 조직하여 지속적인 관심과 경험을 쌓도록 지원할 계획”이라고 말했다.  

한편, 지난 1월에는 조종청소년문화의집이 개관하여 늘해랑 3월부터 청소년방과 후 아카데미를 운영하고 있다고 했다.
