[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 ‘평화로 만들어가는 행운의 도시 포천’의 비전을 토대로 시민들과 소통하고 코로나19로 침체된 지역경제 활성화를 위해 다양한 일자리 시책을 발굴 및 추진하고 있다고 밝혔다.

 

포천시민들에게 일자리 서비스를 제공하고 있는 포천일자리센터는 지난 2010년에 개소해 현재 포천시근로자종합복지관 및 각 읍면동 행정복지센터, 포천고용복지센터에 직업상담사들을 배치해 구인기업 및 구직자를 위한 일자리 서비스를 제공하고 있다고 했다.

 

구인·구직 등록, 취업상담 및 알선 연계, 생생출동 일자리 상담·버스킹 등 취업지원 프로그램 운영을 비롯해 구인·구직 JOB매칭의 날, 일자리 박람회 개최 등 취업 성공을 위한 다양한 사업들을 추진하며 지역 일자리 창출에 최선을 다하고 있고, 그 결과 지난해에는 구인·구직 등록 7,866건, 취업 알선 22,746건, 그리고 3,090명의 취업이라는 실적을 달성했다고 전했다.

‘생생출동! 일자리 상담·버스킹’은 일자리를 찾는 구직자와 사람을 찾는 기업에 새로운 정보를 신속하게 제공하고 언제 어디서든 취업을 희망하는 포천시민 누구에게나 서비스를 제공하기 위한 찾아가는 상담 서비스라고 했다. 

 

일자리 상담은 물론, 구인·구직 등록, 현장 알선도 가능해 포천일자리센터를 방문하지 않아도 일자리 서비스를 제공받을 수 있으며, 또한 현장에서 즉흥적으로 이루어지는 버스킹 행사는 맞춤형 취업지원 사업 홍보 및 음악 공연 등을 통해 코로나19로 취업에 어려움을 겪고 있는 구직자들과 소통하고 위축된 지역경제의 분위기에 활력을 불어넣고 있다고 전했다.

포천시는 여성·청년·중장년층 등 다양한 계층의 구직자가 참가할 수 있는 맞춤형 취업지원 프로그램을 운영하고 있다고 했다.

 

2021년에는 방역관리사 양성과정 2회, 유튜브 크리에이터 심화과정, 스마트스토어 온라인쇼핑몰 마스터 과정에 67명이 교육을 이수했으며, 올해도 지역수요에 적합한 취업지원 프로그램 ‘톤 미만 지게차 면허 취득과정, 인공지능 데이터라벨러 과정, 멀티사무원 과정, 경비원 이수증 과정 등’을 개설해 포천시 구직자의 취업역량 강화를 지원할 계획이라고 전했다.

 

구인기업과 구직자간의 취업을 수시로 연계하는 구인·구직 JOB매칭의 날을 운영, 2021년에는 11회 개최, 65명의 취업을 지원했으며 기업의 인력난 해소 및 일자리 서비스 제공을 위해 최선을 다하고 있다고 했다.

 

포천시의 미래 인적자원인 청년들과 예비청년의 취업성공을 위해 전문강사를 초빙하여 실습 위주의 자기소개서 첨삭 및 모의면접 진행 등 청년 구직자 특성을 반영한 교육 등을 실시하고 있으며, 예비청년을 대상으로 구체적인 진로와 실천계획을 세우도록 특강도 실시하고 있다고 했다. 

 

또한 대진대학교 대학일자리센터 운영 지원을 통해 포천시 청년들의 전문적인 진로 및 취업상담과 취업역량 강화 프로그램을 제공하고 지역 거버넌스 형성을 통해 지역 내 청년의 취업률 및 고용률 제고에 힘쓰고 있다고 전했다.

코로나19로 인해 대면접촉에 어려움을 겪고 있는 구인기업과 구직자간의 소통을 위해 비대면으로 면접을 진행하는 채용의 새로운 방식을 도입해 구인기업과 구직자들에게 일자리 연계 서비스를 제공한다고 했다.

 

포천시는 작년 11월 지역의 구인·구직난 해소 및 맞춤형 취업 연계를 강화하기 위해 포천시 일자리 박람회를 개최했다고 전했다.

 

6개의 일자리 유관기관, 구인기업 20개 사 및 구직자 100여 명이 참가했으며, 청년, 여성, 중장년 등 전 계층에 대한 맞춤형 취업정보 및 상담, 이력서 작성, 현장 면접 등을 제공했으며, 구직자들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 체험이벤트도 마련해 일자리 축제의 장으로 성황리에 마무리했고, 올해도 3차례 채용박람회를 개최해 구인기업과 구직자 간의 취업 연계의 장을 마련할 예정이라고 했다.

 

이외에도 ‘행운의 도시 포천’을 위해 더 좋은 일자리 시책을 추진할 예정이며, 계속된 코로나19로 채용과 취업에 어려움을 겪고 있는 관내 구인기업과 구직자에게 도움이 될 수 있도록 지원 사업을 발굴해 추진한다고 했다.
