이번 행사에는 고령층에게 근로조건이 적합하고 채용까지 가능한 조경식재원(그린보수, 예초기, 배토) 23명을 채용하기 위해 관내 골프장 3개 업체가 참여했다고 했다.

코로나19 방역수칙을 지키며 시간별로 면접을 진행했으며, 일자리를 찾기 위해 현장 취업희망 지원자 20여 명이 참여했다고 전했다.

포천일자리센터에서는 면접 전에 고령층이 지원하는 것을 감안해 직업상담사가 직접 이력서작성 지원과 면접 스킬 향상을 위한 맞춤형 일대일 서비스 제공으로 구직자들에게 만족도를 높였다고 했다.

배상철 일자리경제과 과장은 “앞으로도 다양한 직종의 구인처를 발굴해 여성, 청년, 중장년층 현장면접 채용의 기회를 제공하고, 어려운 고용시장에서 구직자들에게 실질적인 도움을 드릴 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 전했다.
