[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 관내 경쟁력 있는 대표 기업 육성을 위해 유망중소기업 5개사로 선정된 기업은 북평산업단지에 입주한 (합)농수푸드, ㈜서연, 대영물산 3개사가 신규로 선정되었으며, 광림푸드시스템과 동해복층유리공업(주) 2개사는 재인증 하과 현판식을 개최하였다.

이번 유망 중소기업 선정 기준은 본사 및 공장, 대표자 주소지가 동해시에 소재한 기업으로 공장등록 후 2년 이상 가동 및 연간 총매출 3억원 이상인 중소 제조업체로서, 신용상태, 기술 및 품질수준, 성장성, 지역경제 파급효과 등을 종합적으로 평가하여 선정되었다.

단, 최근 2년 기준 재무제표 기준 제조업 전업율이 30% 미만 기업은 제외됐다. 

한편, 동해시는 2008년부터 2021년까지 관내 유망 중소기업 28개 기업을 선정하고, 인센티브 제공 등 기업경쟁력 제고를 위해 지원에 만전을 기하고 있다.

최용봉 산업정책과장은 “2022년 동해시 유망 중소기업에 선정된 기업에 인증서 및 현판을 수여와 중소기업 육성자금 융자추천 확대 및 이자지원(2년간 3.5%) 등 각종 지원을 통해 동해시 지역경제 활성화에 기여할 수 있도록 상생협력 해 나가겠다”이라고 밝혔다.
