[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 17~18일 포천시 군내면은 이틀동안 지역 환경개선과 영농폐자원 재활용을 촉진하고자 각 마을에 산재되어 있는 영농폐기물을 수거했다고 밝혔다.

이장협의회와 마을 주민 등 총 22개 마을이 참여했으며, 농경지에 방치된 폐비닐, 폐농약병, 비료포대 등 약 4톤의 영농폐기물을 수거했고, 수거된 영농폐기물은 한국환경공단으로 이송 후 재생원료로 재활용 처리된다고 했다.

김수경 군내면장은 “영농폐기물 수거에 참여해주신 모든분들께 감사드린다. 곳곳에 방치된 영농폐기물을 수거해 환경도 보호하고 주변도 깨끗해져서 뿌듯하며, 더욱 쾌적한 군내면을 위해 다방면으로 힘쓰겠다.”라고 전했다.
