이날 행사에는 포천시의회 임종훈·조용춘 의원, 군내면단체장협의회 이연상 회장 등 지역 기관단체장들이 참여했으며, 유해원·이지영 이장의 결의문 낭독에 이어 온·오프라인 서명부 작성 등을 홍보하며 성황리에 마무리 되었다고 했다.

손영길 군내면장은 “포천은 그동안 수도권과 군사지역이라는 이유로 각종 중첩규제를 받아왔다.”라며 “경기도 균형 발전을 도모하고 상대적으로 낙후된 경기 동북부 지역 성장의 교두보를 마련하기 위한 제3차 경기도 공공기관 이전을 적극 환영한다.”라고 밝혔다.

한편, 포천시는 경기도 공공기관 유치를 위한 전담 T/F팀을 구성하고 범시민 온·오프라인 서명 추진에 이어 유튜브 영상 홍보를 대대적으로 시행하고 있다고 전했다.
