[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 7월 5일부터 오는 12일까지 의정부시는 여름철에 집중되는 강우량과 갑작스러운 집중 호우, 태풍, 강풍 등으로 인한 풍·수해 피해 및 재난 발생에 대비하고, 피해를 최소화하고자 공공하수처리시설 내 토목, 전기, 기계, 발전시설, 수목 등 모든 시설물에 대한 안전점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 풍수해 대비 시설물 안전점검은 2021년 공공하수처리시설 안전관리계획 및 유지관리계획에 근거한 것으로 시설물 점검을 통하여 시설 내에서의 재해로 인한 안전사고를 방지하고 더 나아가 많은 비로 인한 하수량 증가로 발생하는 월류사태에 대처하여 주변하천오염을 방지하고 하수처리 효율을 유지하는 계획까지 포함하고 있다고 했다. 

해당 점검은 장암동 소재 시설뿐만 아니라 낙양물사랑공원도 포함하여 실시하며, 기계시설물은 현장직원들을 중심으로 각 처리장별 배관설비와 펌프의 상태 및 이상유무를 점검하고, 전기시설물은 전기안전공사 주관으로 누전 방지를 위한 안전점검을 실시할 예정이라고 했다. 

또한 풍수해 대비 상황별 비상근무 요령 및 사고 유형별 조치계획을 점검하고 감시반을 통한 실시간 수량측정 모니터링을 실시할 계획이라고 전했다.
