상생발전형 경기공유마켓은 1억7천만원의 사업비로 다양한 경제주체 참여 및 지역커뮤니티 육성을 위해 전통시장을 공유적가치 공간으로서 지역사회와 함께 하는 시장 조성과 지역경제 주체별 역할 및 자생력 배양하는데 그 목적이 있다고 했다.

이번 사업에서 코로나19로 어려워진 상권활성화를 위해 설악눈메골 다목적광장의 특화된 공간에서 관광객의 눈높이에 어울리는 마을행사를 주제로 다문화와 함게하는 귀농.귀촌 주말마켓 부스운영과, 핸드메이드 제품 체험, 다문화 특색음식 판매부스 운영 그리고 가족과 함께하는 주말공유마켓 문화이벤트 등을 주제로 가평의 청정자연을 체험할 수 있고, 청년들의 창업 자신감과 귀농.귀촌자를 위한 협업 등 지속가능한 마을 축제로 발전시켜나갈 예정이라고 말했다.
